Where can I find my Outlook .pst file and how do I know it's being backed up?

In order for your pst to be backed up we will need to make sure it is included in the backup selection.

First we need to know where that file is located. If you know the location skip to the section below to add / verify that it is included in the data to be backed up.

If you do not know where an old or existing .pst file resides on your computer and you want to add this .pst file to your online backup this section explains how to search for the .pst file and then you can add it to your data to be backed up.

To search for the .pst file, follow these steps:

Launch Computer and then type *.pst in the search box located in the upper right corner, and then press Enter. Locate the desired .pst file you want to add to Outlook. Record the location of the .pst file..

Now that you know where the pst file is you will want to verify that it is being selected to be backed up.

Please follow the steps below in order to add a data selection to be backed up.

Open up Mastermind Backup software and click on the wrench next to 'File and Folder Backup' then click Next to get to the data selection screen.

Once you have made your selection at the next screen you will be able to verify the data set is correct and add or remove files or folders that you do/do not want backed up. Select folders or files by placing a check in the box in front of it. To deselect files remove the check mark.
Once your selection has been completed click Next to set up the schedule of when the backups run. Verify the time you want to
back up and the email address you want the daily reports to be sent to.

Once this is complete press Finish. If you selected Back up at the end of this wizard back ups will start right away, other wise they will run at the next scheduled time.
